ther way, we expect the Lions to add an- other elite running back before it's all said and done. WIDE RECEIVER COMMITTED None PLAYERS TO WATCH David Bell, John Dunmore, Cornelius Johnson, John Metchie, Ja'Markis Weston WHERE PSU STANDS Penn State origi- nally planned to add two wide receivers in 2019, but the coaches haven't had a lot of suc- cess at this position so far. Throughout last season and into the beginning of 2018, Metchie appeared to be a Penn State lean, but he then took an official visit to Alabama in mid-June. Following the weekend with former Penn State wide receivers coach Josh Gattis, many felt that the Crimson Tide were the team to beat. As of this writing, he had- n't made a commitment to any school. Aside from Metchie, the Lions sit in a good position with Bell and Dunmore, but we don't believe they're in the lead with either. Bell appears to be leaning toward Ohio State, and he took another unofficial visit with Urban Meyer and his staff in June. Florida State has long been considered the favorite for Dun- more, but Penn State is in contention following an excellent official visit to University Park on the weekend of June 9-10. Weston is still talking to Penn State, but he's committed to Florida, while Johnson appears to be favoring Notre Dame. WHAT'S NEXT Don't be surprised if the sta/ starts extending verbal o/ers to some new prospects later this summer. Penn State hasn't been forced to pursue many prospects at other positions who we would consider Plan B players. But for one reason or another, the Lions haven't been able to win over the blue- chip players that they're pursuing at re- ceiver this year. Fortunately for the sta/, there's still a long way to go. TIGHT END COMMITTED None PLAYERS TO WATCH Jahleel Billingsley, Isaiah Foskey, Hudson Henry, Josiah Mi- amen WHERE PSU STANDS The staff hosted Foskey for an official visit in April. Billingsley then took his official visit to University Park on the weekend of June 8-9. Henry had been planning to do likewise in early June, but he canceled when he learned that his brother, Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry, would be undergoing ACL surgery that same weekend. Henry is now planning to take his official visit to Penn State during the season. WHAT'S NEXT Billingsley is expected to end up at either Alabama or Florida. When you add in the fact that Foskey lives on the other side of the country and Henry has yet to visit, Miamen is the TOP PROSPECT Cain has already been on campus for an unofficial visit and is plan- ning to return later this month for the Lasch Bash barbe- cue.
