player to watch the closest. The three-
star prospect earned an o;er from Penn
State in June following a satellite camp,
and he wasted little time arranging a
visit, returning to campus only a week
later. The sta; thinks it may have found
a diamond in the rough here, so keep an
eye on him moving forward. If PSU is
going to add a tight end, Miamen is the
most likely option.

TO WATCH
Zachary Franks,
Trevor Keegan, Jakai Moore, Walter
Rouse, Anthony Whigan, Saleem
Wormley
WHERE PSU STANDS The plan heading
into spring practice was to take three of-
fensive linemen in 2019. That's still pos-
sible, but we wouldn't be surprised if
PSU ended up with four. Matt
Limegrover has already locked up his
most important interior lineman in Wal-
lace, so now we believe the coaches are
primarily focused on the six players
listed above. Of those players, Moore,
Whigan and Wormley are the three we
believe the sta; is focused on the most.
Aside from Whigan, who visited for the
:rst time in early May, Moore and
Wormley have both been on campus
multiple times. Wormley also took o<-
cial visits to Notre Dame and Rutgers in
June and is planning to announce his
commitment July 23. Moore has been
regularly visiting South Carolina in re-
cent months, leading many to believe
that the Gamecocks are PSU's top com-
petitors.
WHAT'S NEXT We expect the Lions to
add Wormley to their class when he
announces his commitment later this
month. Whigan has repeatedly said
that he won't rush his decision, but
he's given us the impression that he
would like to finish his recruitment be-
fore the season. If the Lions earn com-
mitments from those two players
before September, there's a good
chance they'll add a fourth, especially
if it's Moore. However, keep an eye on
Franks and Rouse. Both had strong per-
formances at Penn State's Whiteout
Camp at the end of June.
DEFENSIVE LINE
COMMITTED DL: Hakeem Beamon
PLAYERS TO WATCH DE: Zach Harri-
son, Adisa Isaac, David Ojabo; DT:
Steven Faucheux, Jared Hunte, Rodas
Johnson
WHERE PSU STANDS Sean Spencer
would like to add three defensive line-
men in 2019. The sta; picked up a com-
mitment from Beamon in early June, and
he provides Penn State with some versa-
tility, as he could play strongside defen-
sive end or grow into a defensive tackle.
Harrison is arguably the sta;'s top over-
all target in 2019, and Penn State has a
real chance, although it won't be easy to
steal him from the Buckeyes. Harrison
plans to make his commitment Aug. 14.
Aside from Harrison, Isaac and Ojabo
have both been on campus multiple
times, while Hunte visited Penn State
twice in June, his third and fourth trips
to University Park.
WHAT'S NEXT Aside from Harrison, we
feel as if Penn State is primarily focused
on Isaac and Hunte. Ojabo is another
player the coaches like a lot, but he visited
Michigan and Notre Dame in June, and it
appears as if those two programs may now
have an edge over PSU. Faucheux and
Johnson are also quality prospects who
have real interest in the Lions, so regard-
less of which players ultimately join this
class, Penn State is in a great position
with multiple highly ranked defensive
linemen. The coaches should have no dif-
:culties adding two more elite prospects
along the defensive front.
LINEBACKER
COMMITTED Brandon Smith
PLAYERS TO WATCH Nick Cross, Lance
Dixon
WHERE PSU STANDS Penn State missed
out on Harrisburg, Pa., native Andre
White when he committed to Texas A&M
in April, but the sta; managed to land its
top prospect at the position a few weeks
later in Smith. We expect Brent Pry to
add one more linebacker to his stable in
2019, and Dixon seems to be the most
likely candidate. Since last summer, he's
taken four visits to University Park, the
most recent of which was an o
