Listed at 6-foot-5, 262 pounds, Gross-Matos is expected to play a lot this fall, even if it's in a reserve role. BIGGEST LOSS Cothren was a mainstay for Penn State the past two seasons, start- ing 26 of the team's 27 games and winning honorable mention All-Big Ten notice both years. As a senior, he started all 13 games and er moving from linebacker. The situation at defensive tackle is just the opposite. Cothran, Cothren and Chavis all hope to be playing in the NFL this fall.
