The 6-6, 195-pounder is originally from Clemmons, N.C., but made the move to Buford for his sophomore year. Moore averaged 17.3 points, 6.4 re- bounds and 3.7 assists per game for CP3 in 22 Nike Elite Youth Basketball League contests. Now, he's preparing for his next chapter, which starts with an official visit to Raleigh. "I just want to get a better feel for NC State," Moore said. "I've been around the basketball side, now I want to see the school side of it and what they do in their daily life. I want to see how I'd fit in with a program like that. "The NC State coaches told me they would be at every single game, and they have been. They said they'll be sticking with this to the end." When Keatts was hired by NC State on March 17, 2017, recruiting Moore became one of his first priorities. The entire Wolf- pack coaching staff watched Moore and Cox Mill High repeat as North Carolina 3A state champs at Reynolds Coliseum this past March. "Our relationship is getting stronger ev- ery day," Moore said. "He texts me, he calls me and he checks up on me to see how I'm doing. Our relationship is great." The passion of NC State basketball fans has also impressed Moore during the re- cruiting process. He attended the home vic- tory over Duke and the home loss against North Carolina this past season. "They take this seriously, very seriously," Moore said. "That school takes their sports seriously." Each of the four in-state ACC colleges offer something different, Moore added. Or as he likes to say it, they each have a certain "swagger." He hopes to make a college decision before the start of his high school season. "The decision is going to be so hard," Moore said.
