A four-star prospect, Dunmore is
ranked No. 47 in the Rivals100. He's the
10th-ranked wide receiver in the country
and the eighth-ranked prospect in
Florida.
SALEEM WORMLEY The Nittany Lions
added another o=ensive lineman to their
class on July 23 when Wormley, a 6-4,
300-pound prospect from Smyrna, Del.,
announced his commitment.
Wormley came onto the scene at the
end of March when he visited Penn State
for the ;rst time. Not only did he leave
town with an o=er that a?ernoon, but he
returned for a second visit only three
weeks later. When he came back for a
third time for the Blue-White Game, it
was clear that the Lions had put them-
selves in an excellent position.
"I chose Penn State for a lot of reasons,"
he said. "I believe that, during my time
there, we're going to have multiple shots
at competing for a national champi-
onship. I like what Coach Franklin is
building. They also have a great [kinesi-
ology] program, so I don't have to worry
about education."
Notre Dame was another school that in-
trigued Wormley. Throughout the winter
and spring, he built a strong relationship
with Fighting Irish o=ensive line coach
Je= Quinn, but because South Bend is
more than a 10-hour drive from his home,
Wormley was forced to wait until mid-
June, when he could take an o>cial visit,
to see the school for himself. He enjoyed
the trip, but things quickly changed just a
few days later when the Irish accepted a
commitment from another former PSU
target, o=ensive lineman Zeke Correll.
Correll was the fourth o=ensive lineman
to join Notre Dame's class.
With four o>cial visits remaining,
Wormley took one additional trip before
the summer window closed, checking out
Rutgers in late June. That trip also went
well, giving Wormley something to think
about in the weeks leading up to his com-
mitment. However, if there was one major
advantage that Penn State had over the
Scarlet Knights, it was Wormley's rela-
tionship with the other members of Penn
State's Class of 2019.
"I talked to Penn State's commits more
than any other school," he said. "All of
those guys are real cool and chill guys.
That de;nitely made me feel comfortable
with the decision."
Wormley is the sixth-ranked o=ensive
guard in this year's senior class. He was
one of the top o=ensive line performers at
the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge this
summer.
EMERY
SIMMONS
A native of Fayet-
teville, N.C., Simmons was a surprise vis-
itor for the sta='s Lasch Bash barbecue on
July 28. Even though it was his ;rst time
on campus, the three-star prospect saw
everything he needed to see and ended up
being the sta='s lone commitment that
weekend.
"I just love everything about the pro-
gram," he said.
Simmons earned an o=er from Penn
State in May. His commitment to the
Lions was his third in a ;ve-month pe-
riod, beginning with a pledge to Indiana
in March, followed by a
