The Georgia Athletic Coaches Association recently named Hamilton to its watch list for the Georgia High School Football Player of the Year. He was a Nike Opening finalist and will par- ticipate in the All-American Bowl in January. • Notre Dame extended two offers in the class of 2021 during the weekend of the Michigan game. Pickerington (Ohio) North athlete Jack Sawyer holds additional offers from Kentucky, Mary- land, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and others. So far, Notre Dame has offered seven prospects in the class of 2021. • Cornerback Max Williams, a four-star Rivals100 prospect from Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra, tore his ACL in the first game of his senior year. Despite the injury, Williams's recruiting is right on schedule. He will be on campus at Notre Dame for an official visit Sept. 29 when Stanford comes to town, and will also visit Oregon and USC before announcing his commitment in October. The four-star told Rivals national analyst Adam Gorney that he talked to each coaching staff following the injury, and each of them reaffirmed their interest in landing his commitment. • Notre Dame will host Rivals250 defensive end Joshua Pakola of Mountain View (Calif.) St. Francis for an official visit Sept. 14-16. It will be the first time in South Bend for the nation's No. 7 strongside defensive end and No. 116 overall player, who has the Irish in his final eight along with Stanford, UCLA, USC, Oregon, Washington and Georgia. — Corey Bodden and David McKinney • S Litchfield Ajavon: Alexandria (Va.)
