Five Notable Individual Stats 1. Seven Interceptions By LB Manti Te'o — The senior had none through his first three seasons, but set a single-season school record for linebackers this year. It is a mark that might never be eclipsed. Stephon Tuitt's 12 sacks led the team this season and were easily the most by a second-year Irish player since the stat started being kept in 1982. The only sophomore linemen we could find with more tackles for loss overall than Tuitt's 13 was in 1975 with Ross Browner (16) and Willie Fry (14). 3. 2,135 Yards Passing and 305 Rushing By QB Everett Golson — The sophomore quarterback joined 1970 senior Joe Theismann (2,429 passing and 384 rushing) and 1999 fifth-year senior Jarious Jackson (2,753 passing and 464 rushing) as the only three Notre Dame signal-callers to pass for at least 2,000 yards and rush for at least 300 in the same season. 4. Three Lost Fumbles By Running Backs — An Irish running back did not lose a fumble in regulation time through the first nine games. Two of them came at Boston College in game 10. Led by senior Theo Riddick's 180 carries
