NC State senior running back Reggie Gallaspy Jr.'s legacy at NC State was secured on a cold, wet
afternoon in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Gallaspy racked up 129 yards on 27 carries, but what will forever stand out was rushing for five
touchdowns to tie the school record. Gallaspy was responsible for all the scores for the Wolfpack,
including the game-winner when he dove over the goal line in overtime to give NC State a 34-28 win.
Two days after the win, Gallaspy was named third-team All-ACC. The following Saturday he ran for
220 yards vs. ECU, set a school record for TDs in a season (19) and eclipsed 1,000 yards for the year.
