elieve it or not, former Wolfpacker Terry Harvey's
life is even more hectic now than when he was a
two-sport superstar for NC State's football and
baseball teams in the early 1990s, dragging himself
from practice to practice and game to game.
He and his wife, Catherine, both NC State graduates, now
race all over the Triangle, and many points beyond, following
the sporting adventures of their three sons.
It's an all-consuming assignment for the former strong-armed
pitcher from Dacula, Ga., who was selected four different times
in the Major League Baseball Draft and started at quarterback
for the Wolfpack football team for three-plus seasons from
1991-95.
When Harvey finished at NC State, he held the football team's career records for passing yards (5,925), completions (442), attempts
(785), 300-yard passing games (four), touchdown passes (38), total offense (5,846 yards) and total offense per play (6.61 yards).
