St. Thomas Aquinas * As of Jan. 13 P E N N S T A T E R E C R U I T S * C L A S S O F 2 0 1 9 C L A S S O F 2 0 2 0 past summer, the Penn State assistant of- fered pointers aimed at helping Toutant transition from the defensive line into a new role as a full-time o'ensive player. Toutant took Limegrover's advice to heart this season, backing up his camp performances with a strong showing on the &eld. When Limegrover and graduate assistant Sean Cascarano were able to view the game &lm from Toutant's junior year, an o'er soon followed. "We were messaging back and forth a little bit on Twitter. [Limegrover said] he liked my &lm, and then one day [Cas- carano] told me to call him, and I gave them a call," Toutant said. "He said he's there with Coach Limegrover with the of- fensive sta' in the meeting room and they just got done watching my &lm and they were going to give me an o'er." The coaches liked how Toutant &red o' the ball and played with good bend. Penn State's o'er was one that the young prospect had been hoping to land. Earlier in the fall, he had scheduled a third visit to University Park for the Lions' game against Iowa. As it turned out, De La Salle was slated to open the playo's the night before, but Toutant followed through with the trip, and the experience in Beaver Stadium lived up to his expectations. "It's nuts," he said. "There's really nothing like it. It's just insane." ■
