P L A Y E R B I O S WHAT HE DID Dunmore began his varsity career at Cardinal Gibbons in Fort Laud- erdale in 2016. He transferred to Ameri- can Heritage in Delray Beach before the start of the 2017 season and ended up playing quarterback, receiver and defensive back for the Stallions. Prior to the 2018 season, he transferred again, this time to Chaminade-Madonna in Hollywood, where he totaled 53 receptions for 853 yards and eight touchdowns. For his career, Dun- more racked up 2,363 yards of total of- fense. WHAT HE WON A three-year starter, Dunmore went 26-9 over the course of his career. In 2018, Chaminade went 12-2, winning the Florida Class 3A state cham- pionship. Dunmore, who played in the Under Armour All-America Game in Or- lando, Fla., earned =rst-team honors on USA Today's All-USA Florida team. He also participated in the Rivals Five-Star Challenge in Atlanta and The Opening Final in Dallas. Locally, Dunmore earned Broward County Super 11 honors and was =rst-team All-County in 2018. A member of the Rivals100, he sits at No. 92 overall. He's the 14th-ranked wide receiver na- tionally and the 14th-ranked prospect in Florida. WHERE HE VISITED: In the spring of 2017, Ja'Juan Seider was a member of Florida's coaching sta> and was hoping to persuade Dunmore to join the Gators. Seider got his man, as Dunmore commit- ted to Florida in April of that year. But during the 2017 season, Florida parted ways with head coach Jim McElwain. McElwain's successor, Dan Mullen, re- vamped the coaching sta>, prompting Dunmore to reopen his recruitment last January. He took uno?cial visits to Florida State, Miami and Ohio State, but it was his o?cial visit to Penn State last June that changed everything. Michigan and Auburn also earned o?cial visits, but on July 4 he committed to the Nittany Lions, who had hired Seider months ear- lier. Late in the cycle, Dunmore gave Miami a serious look, visiting with Mark Richt and his sta> multiple times in No- vember. He also took an o?cial visit to Coral Gables a few days before the early signing period opened but ultimately signed with the Lions. QUOTABLE Dunmore: "Honestly, [Sei- der] treats me like I'm his son more than a recruit. I know that if I ever needed to go to him about something, he would take care of me. … So the loyalty is pretty strong. He's been recruiting me all the way since my freshman year, =rst at West Virginia, then Florida, now at Penn State. So the relationship we have is pretty tight." PHIL'S TAKE Dunmore runs precise and disciplined routes, and every time he gets his hands on the ball in space, he has the athleticism and ability to take it the dis- tance. He also is a capable blocker. At 180 pounds, Dunmore could use a little extra weight, but he showed on his highlight video that he isn't afraid of contact. He has great body control and can catch the ball at its apex even with a defender all over him. Once he gets his hands on the ball, he rarely drops it. Dunmore has a chance to earn quality playing time in 2019 with the departure of DeAndre Thompkins, Juwan Johnson and Brandon Polk. ■ STAR RECEIVER Dunmore was named to the Under Armour All-America Game and was a first-team USA Today All- USA Florida se- lection.
