Nevada QB is latest to join 2020 class Bowens' decision enlivens an otherwise quiet stretch | F ebruary was a quiet month on the re- cruiting trail, but it still brought good news for Penn State's coaching sta; and fans. On Feb. 19, the Nittany Lions added Nevada quarterback Micah Bowens to their Class of 2020. Bowens' announce- ment came as a surprise to many, as the three-star signal-caller only began speaking with o;ensive coordinator Ricky Rahne about a month prior to his decision. Some notable prospects who planned to visit early in the spring practice schedule included four-star tight end Theo Johnson, who was planning to be on campus March 12- 13 to watch Penn State's :rst spring prac- tice session, as well as defensive tackle Cole Brevard and wide receiver Jaden Dottin, who were planning to be on cam- pus March 16. Johnson, who lives in Windsor, Ontario, has made it clear that the Lions are among his early favorites. Brevard of Carmel, Ind., and Dottin of Su
