Notre Dame's 2013 haul is loaded with
players with winning track records

Notre Dame reclaimed its seat
among the nation's
elite this past season, but
there was little doubt after being manhandled
by Alabama in the BCS
National Championship
Game that there's still
ground which needs to
be made up in order to
move to the head of the
table.
A 12-1 season helped
add something tangible to the message a
Brian Kelly-led staff has
preached since December
2009. But most of the legwork required to net the
24 young men that signed
with the Fighting Irish on
National Signing Day
Feb. 6 came on the heels
of Notre Dame's second
consecutive 8-5 campaign
in 2011.
Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly said when he introduced the
2013 recruiting class on National Signing Day that he expects the 24
new players to add some quality depth throughout the Irish roster.
