Brian Kelly's Comments: "A young man with great versatility on the offensive line. He played tackle [in high school], and he moved to center in the all-star game and played flawlessly at that position." High School Coach Dan Crume's Comments: "He was mostly a tackle for us and also played defense and did the long snapping. He did play center for a few plays, and he can play guard as well. When he came in as a freshman he played tight end, and I've been told we even had formations [prior to Crume's arrival] where he lined up at receiver." Tom Lemming Of Prep Football Report: "He has long arms, quick feet and terrific athletic ability. All he needs is to get a little meaner and tougher. If he does that, he has unlimited potential."
