19 wideout in the land and the No. 176 overall player nationally by Rivals.com … A four-star prospect, the No. 22 receiver in the country and the No. 179 overall player in the land according to Scout.com. Statistics: Caught 39 passes for 692 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore … Recorded 50 receptions for 758 yards and eight scores (plus a rushing TD) as a junior … Made 60 catches for 940 yards and eight touchdowns (plus a kickoff return for a score) as a senior … Also played some cornerback and registered three interceptions as a senior. Honors: A first-team all-state selection as a senior … Team MVP as a junior and senior … Philadelphia Catholic League MVP as a senior … Philadelphia Inquirer All-Southeastern Pennsylvania team selection in 2012 … First-team all-city pick as sophomore by the Philadelphia Daily News … All-Catholic League selection as a sophomore and junior. All-Star Games And Camps: Chosen for Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl Jan. 4 in Carson, Calif., and played for East squad, which earned a 17-14 victory. Brian Kelly's Comments: "The thing that really clearly stands out is his ball skills. He can run and catch the football. Any time that we got a chance to observe him, he was running and catching. He just has terrific ball skills. We think as he develops physically, he also has that speed, that top-end speed that can obviously impact football games." Roman Catholic Head Coach Joseph McCourt's Comments: "I think his best asset is his quickness. He's impossible to jam off the line of scrimmage. That's what makes him translate well to the next level. Will can play outside and slot very well. What's going to be very difficult for defenders, especially if he lines up in that slot, linebackers matching up with him, there's no way they can jam him on the line of scrimmage. I think that's what is going to make Will successful at Notre Dame — his versatility." Tom Lemming Of Prep Football Report: "Notre Dame got a couple of the better players in Philadelphia this year. He had a real good senior year, and I was really impressed with him. Philadelphia isn't a great area for football, and I think Fuller really came on strong this year. He was named All-Southeast Pennsylvania and has blue-chip ability at both the wide receiver and cornerback positions." Recruitment: Committed to Penn State on June 5, 2012 … Made an unofficial visit to Notre Dame on Aug. 5 after receiving a scholarship offer from the Irish on July 26 … Switched his commitment to Notre Dame on Aug. 6 … Made two unofficial visits to South Bend on Oct. 20 and Nov. 17 before an official visit on Dec. 7 … Primary Notre Dame recruiter was offensive line coach Harry Hiestand. Why He Chose Notre Dame: "When I visited I just loved the fact that there were other commits that came just because I was coming, and they wanted me to commit. I just felt the love. It felt like I was at home when I was there. It was the most I've felt at home of any school. I had to do it as quick as possible." Jason Sapp's Scouting Report: Stretches the field quickly not only due to his speed, but by freezing a defender with his footwork off of the line of scrimmage … Makes proper adjustments to get to the football and is capable of making the difficult, over-the-opposite-shoulder catch, displaying good hands and concentration … Is a strong-handed receiver that high points the football … In addition to speed, he also possesses quickness to make the defender miss in the open field — offering an option as a returner on special team. 2013 Projection: Fuller impressed on the All-America circuit with his strong play in the week leading up to the Semper Fidelis Bowl, and his speed and play-making ability is something that will most certainly be welcomed to the receiving corps. He also adds the ability to play on the defensive side of the ball while being recruited as an athlete, so he'll be one to watch to see where he settles in. Either way, he's the type of talent that could find an opportunity on special teams early.
