"I really just want to get my foot in the door," he said. "My main goal really is to get to that second contract." Barkley, who in February won Offen- sive Rookie of the Year honors from The Associated Press, was on hand during Pro Day and was nearly impossible to miss with his bright orange sweatshirt courtesy of former teammate Marcus Allen's brand, Vibes By Chico. The No. 2 overall pick in last year's NFL Draft, Barkley caught up with players, as well as with head coach James Franklin and the rest of the staff. Sanders said he was happy to see his former teammate again. "That's my guy at the end of the day," Sanders said. "We played with each other for two years. I learned a lot from him. I made him better, he made me bet- ter. So just seeing him is cool. He always comes back. He's cool. He's a cool dude. I know he's busy, but it was good to see him today." Oruwariye has been hailed as one of Penn State's top draft prospects this year. At Pro Day, the 6-foot-2, 203- pound cornerback said he's been feeling good about his preparations. He ran a 4.47-second 40-yard time at the com- bine and opted not to run it again at Pro Day. "For the most part, [the scouts] said they were impressed with my 40," Oruwariye said. "For my size, me run- ning sub-4.5 was pretty good. I'm happy with it. I thought I trained my butt off for that, and I'm happy with the results." Like Oruwariye and Sanders, McGov- ern opted not to run at Pro Day because he was pleased with the testing results he turned in at the combine. He said the scouts have been impressed with his versatility, noting that he could play any of the five spots on the offensive line. A three-year starter at Penn State, McGovern said he hasn't been tracking his status on the various online mock drafts that have been making the rounds. "I'm not really big into social media, so I haven't really checked," he said. "But from everything I've heard, it should be like the second round." Miller was a two-year starter for the Nittany Lions, totaling 12.5 sacks in 2017 and '18 before announcing in Jan- uary that he planned to forgo his senior season. He is entering a draft that is deep at defensive end, with fellow Big Ten standouts Nick Bosa of Ohio State and Rashan Gary of Michigan headlin- ing this year's group. In addition, there are some other elite edge rushers set to enter the league, most notably Josh NAME POS HT WT BENCH VERT BROAD 10 20 40 PRO 'L' 60 Ryan Bates OL 6-5 307 28* 27* 8-6* – – 5.09* 4.53* 7.45* – Jake Cooper LB 6-1 237 25 34 9-8 1.66 2.78 4.75 4.35 7.37 12.07 Donnell Dix LB 5-9 225 23 33 10-3 1.68 2.77 4.83 4.44 7.43 12.57 Koa Farmer LB 6-1 228 25 37 10-4 1.55 2.60 4.48 4.28 6.87 11.64 Kevin Givens DE 6-2 283 32* 31* 9-7* – – 5.08* 4.62* 7.63* – Connor McGovern OL 6-6 311 28* – 9-4* – – – 4.57* 7.66* – Trace McSorley QB 6-1 203 – 33* 9-7* – – 4.57* 4.12* 7.09* – Shareef Miller DE 6-5 257 17* 29.5* – – – 4.69* 4.45* – – Amani Oruwariye CB 6-2 203 17* 36.5* 10-0* – – 4.47* 4.16* 6.82* – Miles Sanders RB 6-0 213 20* 36* 10-4* – – 4.49* 4.19* 6.89* – Nick Scott Saf. 5-11 201 18 41 10-8 1.53 2.56 4.43 4.20 7.12 11.8 Johnathan Thomas RB 5-11 217 19 39.5 10-8 1.53 2.64 4.40 4.22 6.84 11.91 DeAndre Thompkins WR 5-11 192 13 34 10-6 1.53 2.56 4.33 4.26 7.02 11.47 Kyle Vasey LS 6-2 245 22 24.5 9-0 1.77 3.03 5.06 5.12 8.09 – Chasz Wright OL 6-7 332 25 24.5 8-6 1.90 3.20 5.42 4.81 7.97 – * Testing mark from NFL Scouting Combine P R O D A Y R E S U L T S
