Oden, who attended Michigan himself, has sent a number of players from Detroit Crockett to become Wolverines, including defensive end Brandon Graham (2006-09) and fifthyear senior walk-on defensive back Floyd Simmons. Khalid has been a regular presence in town over the past couple years. ���I think Khalid will be fine,��� Oden said. ���He���s going on to a place where he���s very familiar with the guys. The guys in his recruiting class, guys that are already there. He���s been spending weekends in Ann Arbor for four years with Floyd Simmons, Brandon Graham when those guys were there. He���s been up there, he knows the campus better than anything, and he���s already going to be adjusted when he gets there.��� That jump-start in adjusting to college life could help get Hill on the field early in his career.
