Date Of Official Visit To Michigan: Dec. 14, 2012. Why Jones Chose Michigan: It was basically the camaraderie around the program, and the fact that the program wanted to launch a pro-style offense. It fits, relative to my skills as a receiver. My mom liked it. She liked the academics, and felt good about the university. She knew Id get a very good education. Plus, its pretty close to home, so I knew my parents would get to see a lot of the games. Head Coachs Comments: Michigan is getting a darned good football player, but more importantly a better person and a better young man, Westland John Glenn head coach Tim Hardin noted. DaMario is a great athlete, but hes an exceptional young man. Hes a good leader and good in the classroom, just a great kid. At the high school level, its very rare that your best player is also your best leader and your best kid. Thats the kind of kid DaMario is. His size and his athletic ability when you match that up with his aggressiveness, thats what makes him a good football player. Hes fast, and he has great leaping ability. His reach is incredible. Even though hes 6-2, with his body type, he plays like hes 6-5, because of his ability to leap and stretch to go get a ball.
