Stribling accepted ��� and it was certainly a good decision. ���When he went up to camp, he really stood out from day one,��� Hales said. ���I think what really caught the Michigan coaches��� attention was his competitiveness.��� The Wolverines were actively looking for athletic corners with size. Stribling immediately caught Michigan head coach Brady Hoke���s eye. ���We were in our lines going to drills and one-on-ones, and one of the coaches pulled me out and took me to the office,��� Stribling said. ���That���s where I met Coach Hoke. I went into the office and talked to Coach Hoke for a minute, and he just told me I had a scholarship with Michigan.��� The Wolverines��� courtship of Stribling happened quickly ��� just over a week. But after he committed in June, he got a chance to become more familiar with the coaches and players, visiting for the annual recruits��� barbeque in July and attending his firstever game at The Big House Nov. 17, when Michigan beat Iowa, 47-17. ���I was just looking at the fans to see how they would react to a big game,��� he said after the game. ���I wanted to see how many fans could fit in in there.
