nique for a young player, and has a strong desire to visit Ann Arbor, based on excellent relationships with the Michigan coaching staff. Securing Hand would give Michigan its highest-rated signee in the Rivals. com era. frame is the tall type that the U-M staff likes to give a shot on the edge first. He is ranked the No. 157 player nationally by Rivals.com and led his Aliquippa team to a second straight Western Pennsylvania championship last fall. Wide receiver Drake Harris Grand Rapids (Mich.) Christian Harris spent most of his life dreaming of Division I basketball scholarships, but after a breakout junior football campaign, hes decided to turn down a number of hardcourt opportunities for life on the gridiron. The 6-4, 180-pounder has outstanding speed and leaping ability (as expected from a former hooper), and his hands will continue to improve with focus on one sport. Wide receiver Corey Holmes Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas Although hes lanky at 6-1, 170 pounds, Holmes has the smooth athleticism and top-end speed that call to mind former U-M standout Mario Manningham. That combination earned him an offer at Michigans summer camp, even though he had a few drops. He is ranked the No. 224 player in the nation, but increased production during his senior year could see that ranking rise. Tight end Daniel Helm Chatham (Ill.) Glenwood Helm is a big target at 6-5, 220 pounds, and has the versatility that Michigans coaches are looking for out of the tight end position. He has served as an end-of-line blocker and a wide receiver in high school, and would do the same at Michigan. He is ranked No. 201 nationally in the initial Rivals250 and has earned offers from schools across the Midwest. Defensive back Adoree Jackson Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra He may ply his trade in the Golden State, but Jacksons roots are in the Midwest hes a native of Illinois and grew up a Michigan fan. That fandom is positive for the Wolverines, because the No. 8 player in the nation is simply electric in coverage or with the ball in his hands as a slot receiver or return man. His 5-10, 170-pound size calls to mind 2013 signee Jourdan Lewis, but hes even more athletic. Defensive back Dravon Henry Aliquippa, Pa. Henry is a two-way standout in high school, but expects to focus on the defensive side of the ball in college, where hes a ball-hawking safety. He also has the hips to play cornerback, and his 6-0, 185-pound Offensive lineman Jamarco Jones Chicago De La Salle Jones stands just 6-5, 285 pounds, but his long arms make him tall enough to play offensive tackle in college. He has visited a whos-who
