yards between them (829 from Gallon), theres no apparent go-to guy on the outside. Redshirt freshman Jehu Chesson and sophomore Amara Darboh, who played primarily on special teams in 2012, will have an opportunity, and senior Jeremy Jackson will get a longer look, but its likely that a freshman or two will have to contribute to an offense that will have unproven players at a number of positions. 4. Secondary depth Speaking of unproven players, the secondary will have plenty of its own on the field, as well. Blake Countess return will help, as will junior-to-be Raymon Taylors emergence as a solid corner. Senior-to-be Courtney Avery, though, is the only proven backup, and he is best suited for nickel back. Junior Delonte Hollowell or sophomore Terry Richardson will have to step up, or one of the incoming freshmen could see early playing time. Safeties, too, are unproven after fifth-year senior Thomas Gordon, with sophomore Jarrod Wilson the most experienced. He notched only eight tackles in limited action in 2012. 5. The center position Michigan fans were spoiled with four years of David Molk, the 2011 Rimington Award winner as the nations best center. Elliott Mealer was serviceable last year, but this needs to be a position of strength if the running game is going to get going like the coaches expect. Redshirt sophomore Jack Miller will likely get first crack, but it will be an open competition it wouldnt surprise if someone we least expect captured the job, the way Mealer did a year ago. Technology gloves On S a 3-31 le thru -13 Stay warm and in touch this football season with the new Michigan Technology Touch Gloves by McArthur Towel & Sports.
