Burke was also ninth in free throw accuracy (80.4), behind Thomas��� 86.8. Burke was tied for third in steals (1.8 average) behind OSU���s Aaron Craft (2.2) and Oladipo (2.0), while McGary was tied for 11th (1.2). ��� The Wolverines placed a trio of three-point shooters into the top 15, with Hardaway No. 3 (46.0 percent), Burke tied for eighth (39.7) and freshman Nik Stauskas tied for 13th (36.9). The Wolverines came out of the game 27-1 at home, with only a Senior Day defeat last season against the Boilermakers marring that record. ��� U-M trailed Purdue 33-32 at the intermission, marking the first time all season it faced a halftime deficit at home. ��� Michigan���s 74-60 win at Illinois Jan.��27 secured the best start in school history for the men���s basketball team. The Wolverines moved to 19-1, topping the 18���2 starts recorded in 1985-86, 1976-77 and 1964-65. ��� The Wolverines have now won two straight games in Champaign, Ill., this year���s win following a 72-61 victory last March. Michigan had not won at Assembly Hall in consecutive seasons since the 1994 and 1995 campaigns. U-M has four straight wins overall against the Illini, and is 75-85 all time versus Illinois. ��� Illinois native and freshman Max Bielfeldt matched a career high with four points and two rebounds in the win over the Illini.
