The publication calculated Beilein was costing U-M $237,308 per win. St. Bonaventure���s Mark Schmidt held the top spot on the list, costing his school $88,467 per victory. Some other interesting names on the list: former U-M coach Steve Fisher at No. 3 with San Diego State ($129,930); Ohio State���s Thad Matta at No. 6 ($161,591); Purdue���s Matt Painter at No. 12 ($216,848); Northwestern���s Bill Carmody at No.��14 ($234,732); and Wisconsin���s Bo Ryan at No. 18 ($250,766). ��� Michigan���s 68-46 romp past Northwestern Jan. 30 moved the Wolverines to 20-1, making them the first team in the country to reach the 20-win mark. U-M has nailed down 20 or more wins in seven of the last 10 seasons. ��� U-M turned the ball over just two times in the win over the Wildcats, eclipsing the three turnovers it had against Central Michigan earlier in the year and establishing a new season low. ��� Horford garnered his first start of the season against Northwestern, recording a season-high 10 points and seven rebounds, while tying a season high with three blocked shots.
