The sophomore poured in a season-best 29 points to lift the Wolverines past Penn State, after going 7 of 11 in East Lansing to lead Michigan with 18 points. ��� U-M hit a season-high 14 three-point shots in its 76-74 overtime win against Ohio State Feb. 6, its best effort since connecting on 15 in a win at Oakland University on Dec. 10, 2011. ��� Hardaway���s six three-pointers against the Buckeyes marked a career high, and his 23 points pushed him past Courtney Sims (1,329) and into 27th place on Michigan���s all-time scoring list. Hardaway���s 18 in the following game against Wisconsin moved him up to 25th place on the U-M list, with 1,349. ��� U-M���s Feb. 9 overtime loss at Wisconsin represented the first back-to-back Michigan overtime contests since the 1999���2000 season. The Wolverines have now lost 11 straight at the Kohl Center. Bielfeldt recorded a career-high 18 minutes of playing time in that game. ��� Michigan���s 75-52 defeat at Michigan State Feb. 12 gave the Wolverines backto-back regular-season losses for the first time since the 2010-11 campaign. ��� McGary made his first career start against the Spartans. Meanwhile, Morgan returned from injury, playing nine minutes off the bench. ��� Michigan���s 79-71 win over Penn State Feb. 17 marked U���M���s fifth straight over the Nittany Lions. The Wolverines shot a season-high 35 free throws in the game, connecting on 27. Burke���s 8-of-9 effort marked a season high, and Robinson���s 9-of-11 showing set a career high for makes. Stauskas matched his best free throw outing, going 6 of 6. ��� Burke���s season-high 29 points in the game meant he���s scored at least 15 in every Big Ten contest, making him the only player in the league to accomplish that feat. ��� Five Questions With Freshman Guard Nik Stauskas Do you put any stock into the notion of freshmen hitting a ���wall,��� physically or mentally? Stauskas: ���Glenn [Robinson III] and I have heard a lot of it, just because we had a few-game stretch where we haven���t been playing well. Maybe it is that we���re tired or something like that ��� but we���ve just been missing shots we normally make. ���If you look at both of us, we���ve just been missing open shots. There���s nothing you can do about that sometimes. You shoot the ball the same way and it doesn���t go in. I don���t necessarily think any of us have hit a wall, but maybe we���re a little bit tired.���
