I invited him to play in the Semper Fi game, and he was one of the better all-around athletes for the East squad. He was quick to the ball. As a running back, he���s small but has great vision. He would be a good back in a spread attack, but he is better off on defense in a pro-style offense like Michigan has now.��� Career Totals: Set Avon career records in touchdowns (52), rushing touchdowns (50) and points scored (312), while ranking second all time in rushing (3,362 yards) and fourth in attempts (507).
