hen you sit down and analyze
Penn State's scholarship roster for
the upcoming football season, you
can't help but think that the Nittany
Lions are most likely the youngest team
in the East Division of the Big Ten and,
along with Minnesota, one of the
youngest teams in the entire conference.
Penn State's scholarship roster in-
cludes 55 underclassmen. There are 21
true freshmen, 13 redshirt freshmen,
seven true sophomores and 14 redshirt
sophomores among the team's 82 schol-
arship players.
