Ht.: 6-0 • Wt.: 220 • Appeared in every game in 2018, and compiled 44 tackles, 3.5 stops for loss and two sacks. • Named All-Big Ten honorable mention by the coaches and media. • Compiled 82 total stops, 17.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks, two interceptions, nine pass deflections and two forced fumbles in his junior season. • Landed on the All-Big Ten third team by the coaches for his standout junior season and was recognized as the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week for his 15-tackle outing against Min- nesota in which he tied an NCAA single-game record with eight tackles for loss. • Posted top-15 single-season marks in school history in 2017 for tackles for loss (12th), sacks (tied for 15th) and passes defended (11, tied for 15th). • Played in every contest as a freshman, mainly contributing on special teams but also seeing snaps at safety. • Named The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's 2015 Player of the Year. • Ranked as a three-star prospect, the No. 10 player in Pennsylvania and No. 26 safety in the nation by Rivals. CHARLES THOMAS • LB Fr. • Atlanta Ht.: 5-11• Wt.: 224 • Compiled 335 total tackles, 33 stops for loss, five sacks and two interceptions during his prep ca- reer. Played his final two years at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., and St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn. • Named a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American in 2016 at Langston Hughes High in Fairburn, Ga. • Totaled more than 100 tackles in both his freshman and sophomore seasons at Langston Hughes. • Ranked by Rivals as a three-star talent, the No. 7 player in Connecticut and the No. 35 inside linebacker in the country.
