Fellow former Irish offensive lineman Quenton Nelson was selected as a rookie, continuing the legacy of Irish blockers in the NFL. Rounding out the group was Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith, who has made the Pro Bowl each year since 2015. 6 Former Irish players were selected in the 2019 NFL Draft. Defensive tackle Jerry Tillery led the way, taken at No. 28 by the Los Angeles Chargers. Other Irish players selected included receiver Miles Boykin (No. 93 to the Baltimore Ravens), cornerback Julian Love (No. 108 to the New York Giants), linebacker Drue Tranquill (No. 130 to the Chargers), running back Dexter Williams (No. 194 to the Green Bay Packers) and tight end Alizé Mack (No. 231 to the New Orleans Saints). 20 Touchdowns scored by former Notre Dame players in the NFL during the 2018 regular season. Wide receivers Will Fuller and Golden Tate both scored four times, as did tight end Kyle Rudolph. Running back Josh Adams found the end zone three times as a rookie, while TJ Jones caught a pair of touchdowns for the Detroit Lions. Tight end Tyler Eifert, wideout Michael Floyd and linebacker Jaylon Smith (fumble recovery) each added one. 69 First-round draft picks have come from Notre Dame with Tillery being the most recent. The Irish have produced at least one first-round pick in six of the last eight drafts, with a pair going among the top 32 three times during that span (2012, 2016 and 2018).
