Toutant, of Warren, Mich., had recently been upgraded from a three- to a four- star prospect by Rivals. A5er that initial wave of upheaval in mid-June, the Lions lost Wingo, a four- star linebacker from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on June 22 when he 3ipped his com- mitment to Florida. In an interview with InsideTheGators.com, Wingo's mother, Carrieann, said that a5er committing to Penn State on Christmas Day last year, he "fell out of love" with the university. "It was nothing Penn State did or didn't do," Carrieann Wingo said. "That is what in fact made the decision so hard. Fashanu said his visit in early June was "was mainly just about answering those 2nal few questions that my parents had about Penn State. A5er our last two vis- its, we had a lot of information given to us, so my parents were just curious about a few other things. "Thankfully, all of our remaining ques- tions were not only answered, but it was what me and my family were hoping to hear," he added. "My parents appreciated everything they had to say." In previous interviews, Fashanu said that he had a close relationship with a NAME POS HT WT RATING HOME SCHOOL Golden Achumba OL 6-4 320 ★★★★ Hyattsville, Md. DeMatha R.J.
