To set the scene, let's back up a cou-
ple of days, to June 10. That's when
Penn State fans learned that the coach-
ing staff had not only lost a commit-
ment from one of its top offensive
linemen, Grant Toutant, but that he
also immediately switched his com-
mitment to Big Ten rival Ohio State.
Toutant's change of heart came about
two weeks after Julian Fleming, a five-
star wide receiver and Pennsylvania
native, announced that he, too,
planned to sign with the Buckeyes.
