here's never a shortage of topics
at Penn State's preseason media
day. You can probably guess what
was discussed the most this year. Be-
tween the quarterback battle, the poten-
tial on defense and new additions to the
coaching sta<, reporters, coaches and
players all had plenty to talk about. It
wasn't just about football, either. Just as
many questions were about life o< the
;eld.
In previous years, I spent most of my
time chatting with the sophomores, as
media day was usually the ;rst time the
entire group was made available to re-
porters. However, I took a di town with one.
"It's de;nitely one of the busier
months now," Bowen said. "Camps were
always the main focus that month.
