P
enn State added linebacker Zuriah
Fisher, safety Elijah Gaines and
wide receiver KeAndre Lambert
to its Class of 2020 recently, and it picked
up a pair of 2021 commitments during the
weekend of the Michigan game, as o>en-
sive lineman Nate Bruce and wide re-
ceiver Liam Cli>ord announced for the
Nittany Lions within 24 hours of each
other.
A three-star prospect from Aliquippa,
Pa., Fisher took his o?cial visit to Univer-
sity Park for the game against Pitt. A@er
spending a weekend with both the coaches
and players, he decided to end his recruit-
ment, announcing his commitment Sept.
16. Overall, he took four total visits with
James Franklin and his sta>, three of which
took place in the past envisions using him the same
way it currently uses Micah Parsons.
"When they play a team like Iowa or
Wisconsin, I'll be at middle linebacker
because those teams run up the middle
and I'm big," Fisher said. "Then, if we
play a team like Ohio State or Maryland,
which are spread teams, I'll be on the edge
rushing."
Gaines, who grew up in Queens, N.Y.,
but plays at Episcopal boarding school in
Alexandria, Va., announced his commit-
ment on Sept. 27. He earned an o>er from
the Nittany Lions in April and took three

Two of those visits came in the past few
months, as Gaines took an uno?cial in
June, followed by an o?cial on the week-
end of the Pitt game, Sept. 13-15. He also
camped in State College twice before
being recruited by the sta>.
"The family feel that I got from there –
that's what stands out to me," Gaines
said. "They're a really close group. The
coaches care about their guys. Education
is also very important. That all stands out
to me."
Gaines, who stands 6-1, 195 pounds,
earned 17 verbal scholarship o>ers. In ad-
dition to the Nittany Lions, he announced
in June that Duke, Michigan, North Car-
olina, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Virginia
were among his top schools. Michigan
and North Carolina were Penn State's top
competitors.
"He's a high-ceiling safety and still has a
lot of room to
