Academy wide receiver Deion Colzie, the nation's No. 6 athlete and No. 95 overall prospect per Rivals, was invited to the 2021 All-American Bowl, previously known as the Army All-American Bowl, in San Antonio. The date for the 2021 all-star game has not been set yet. Phoenix Pinnacle's Tosh Baker, Rivals' No. 5 offensive tackle and No. 44 overall recruit in the land, has been committed to the 2020 All-American Bowl for quite some time, and he has also accepted an invitation to play in the Polynesian Bowl in Hawai'i, which can be seen on the CBS Sports Network on Jan. 18, 2020. • La Jolla (Calif.) The Bishop's School quarterback and Notre Dame class of 2021 commit Tyler Buchner was nominated for the Silver Pigskin, which is San Diego's top high school football honor, similar to the Heisman Trophy in college football. Buchner, who is listed as the No. 5 prospect in California and the No. 65 overall player nationally by Rivals, is the first junior to be nominated for the Silver Pigskin, presented by the Prep Pigskin Report of KUSI News, since Reggie Bush, a two-time All-American running back for USC, in 2001. This season, Buchner has thrown for 3,358 yards and 41 touchdowns plus added 1,149 yards and 20 scores on the ground while leading La Jolla (Calif.) The Bishop's School to a 10-0 record in the regular season. • Notre Dame hosted an intriguing athlete for the Navy game Nov. 16. Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy's Dekel Crowdus, the No. 23 receiver and No. 128 overall prospect in the land per Rivals, made his way up to South Bend. Crowdus, who is originally from Lexington, Ky., holds offers from Florida State, Louisville, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee and others. Going into the visit, Crowdus did not hold an offer from the Fighting Irish, but the staff has interest in him. • Notre Dame has 17 commitments in the 2020 class, plus Isaiah Pryor, a graduate transfer safety from Ohio State who will join the team in January. The Irish may have just one spot left in the class and want to take one more defensive back. Bakersfield (Calif.) Liberty athlete Ramon Henderson, a three-star talent and the No. 49 recruit in California according to Rivals, has been a big Notre Dame target for several months. He is being pursued by other schools, however, and officially visited Utah Nov. 15-17. UCLA and Tennessee are also recruiting Henderson. — Mike Singer Follow @BGI_MikeSinger on Twitter for daily recruiting updates! Bradenton (Fla.)
