Arceri sets record in Nittany Lions' season-opening win
Gerard Arceri became Penn State's all-
time ground balls leader, as the Nittany
Lions romped to a season-opening 16-9
win over visiting Lafayette on Feb. 1.

since Frannie Crouse was chosen 10th
overall in 2018.
"I'm thrilled for Kaleigh and believe Sky
Blue will be an excellent place for her to
grow into her own as she transitions from
college to the professional game," Penn
State head coach Erica Dambach said.
"There are so many exciting things going
on within the Sky Blue organization, and
they chose a since its incep-
tion in 2013.
During her since it began in
2013. The Nittany Lions had three picks
in the 2016 dra>, the highest total in pro-
gram history.
On Jan. 27, Riehl's fellow captain
Amanda Dennis signed a contract to join
the Houston Dash. Dennis was the Nit-
tany Lions' starting goalkeeper for three
seasons, winning 45 games and recording
24 shutouts. She ranks third in school
history with a .77 goals-against average
and is <>h all-time with 202 saves.
