Smith's best performance of the season came in a 25‑0 win over the DC Defenders March 1 when he racked up 122 yards on 24 carries. HEADLINERS Former Michigan athletes in the news this month Connor, a left winger with the Winnipeg Jets, had 38 goals through March 11, tying him for the sixth most in the entire NHL.
