players were a package deal, as twin brothers Kalen and Kobe King, from Cass Tech in Detroit, always planned to play together in college. "I think at one point, Kobe may have been leaning to- wards Wisconsin more and I was leaning towards Penn State," Kalen King said. "But a/er we took that second visit to Penn State, we were both on the same page. Penn State was the team to beat then." That second visit took place back on Jan. 18. The brothers had previously vis- ited in April 2019 for the Blue-White Game. Kalen didn't hide his thoughts following the trip in January, saying pub- licly that Penn State "might be number one for me." It ended up being the sec- ond-to-last visit the brothers took, as Michigan hosted the twins the following weekend. In the end, their decision came down to Penn State, Michigan and Wisconsin. Both brothers earned more than two dozen scholarships. According to Rivals.com, Kalen is the higher-ranked prospect, earning a four-star rating. He's the 21st-ranked cornerback in the coun- try. Kobe earned a three-star rating and is the 15th-ranked linebacker nationally. Their commitment was an- other major plus for Banks. "Coach Banks is from De- troit, so having him up there is like having another family member up there," Kalen King said. "Having someone like him there, someone that I can go to, someone that's from the same city and grew up like me, that's important to me."
