First, I would like to say thank you to all of our loyal subscribers for the support you have given Blue White Illustrated over the past 36 years. You have enabled me and my staff to live the dream of provid- ing Nittany Lion fans all over the world with the finest Penn State sports coverage on the market. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we have been forced to change our print schedule leading up to the 2020 football season. In past years, our April and May magazines were devoted to coverage of all the developments in spring football prac- tice. But with spring sports suspended this year, our two most recent issues, including this one, have focused on how Penn State is dealing with these unprecedented cir- cumstances. Throughout the past few months, Penn State's sports teams have continued to prepare for the day when they will be able to resume competition. That includes recruit- ing, of course, and later this month we will be send- ing out a newsletter detailing what the Nittany Lion football team has been doing lately on the recruit- ing trail. We are also preparing our 2020 PENN STATE FOOTBALL PRE- VIEW ISSUE. Nor- mally, that issue is mailed to subscribers in early July. But in order to make it as comprehensive and up-to-date as possi- ble, we will be mailing this year's preview in late July or early Au- gust. That issue will close out Blue White Illustrated's 35th vol- ume. BWI will still pro- duce the first issue of our 36th volume in August, prior to the currently scheduled season opener against Kent State on Sept. 5. That issue will be focused on preseason practice and other Penn State fall sports. But as a SPECIAL way of saying $5.00 $8.50 DISPLAY UNTIL APRIL 10, 2020 $5.00 D
