It has competed against all 14 teams in both the ACC and Big Ten, and all 12 in the Pac-12. The three missing from the Big 12, which actually has only 10 schools, are Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. There are still four teams to play in the 14-team SEC: Arkansas —slated to visit Sept. 12 — Auburn, Kentucky and Mississippi State. 84.6 Percent of football games won by Notre Dame the past three seasons, ranking sixth among the 130 Football Bowl Subdivision schools. The top 10 are: Clemson — 93.2 (41-3) Alabama and Ohio State — both 90.5 (38-4) Central Florida — 89.7 (35-4) Oklahoma — 85.7 (36-6) Notre Dame — 84.6 (33-6) Georgia — 83.7 (36-7) LSU — 82.9 (34-7) Appalachian State — 82.5 (33-7) Boise State — 80.5 (33-8) 11 Consecutive losses Notre Dame has versus a top-five opponent at the time of the game, dating back to the 17-10 conquest at No. 3 Michigan on Sept. 10, 2005. That 14-year span is easily the longest such drought for the Fighting Irish. It previously had been eight years from 1958-65 while going 0-8. Five of the current defeats have been under head coach Brian Kelly, most recently 23-17 last season at No. 3 Georgia.
