Loaded four-man recruiting class will help give PSU a fresh look next season

tars don't entice Patrick Chambers.
Penn State's third-year men's
basketball coach is looking to recruit winners, on and off the hardwood
and, more specifically, the winning
outlook they bring.
"I'm looking for the right attitude,"
Chambers said. "I'm the same guy I
was when I first got here. A lot of
people think, 'Oh, this will be a one-
year thing and he'll lose his energy,
he'll become negative.' No. It's not happening. We're going to be positive, we're
going to have a great attitude, we're
going to work hard, we're going to be
energetic and enthusiastic. And we're
looking for players like that, too. We're
looking for winners."
According to Rivals.com, the Nittany
Lions' most recent recruiting class isn't
devoid of winners, or respect. Four
players, all of whom signed letters of
intent to play hoops for Chambers next
season, were rated as three-star
prospects. But they were not individually ranked among the nation's top
150 prospects for the Class of 2013.
Still, Minnesota point guard Graham
Woodward is coming off a first-team
All-State senior season. Same for Pittsburgh-area guard Geno Thorpe, who
