Senior Cornerback Courtney Avery Waves Off Replay Of 2011 Michigan senior cornerback Courtney Avery knows every time his gameclinching interception against Ohio State in 2011 comes up on television — a fairly frequent occurrence. He has an automatic reminder. An OSU team that had already scored 34 points required just one more big play to pull out a 41-40 victory. Instead, Avery reached around a Buckeyes receiver to tip Braxton Miller's pass into their air and stayed with it, pulling the ball down and setting off bedlam in The Big House.
