him for the entire 1972 season, and
he shared the fullback slot in '73 with
senior Bob Nagle. Donchez was the star
in 1974. He rushed for 880 yards on 195
attempts, scored eight touchdowns and
added 17 catches for 176 yards, as the
team went 10-2, beating Baylor, 41-20,
in the Cotton Bowl and er being

bama fumble at the Crimson Tide 19-
yard line. Suhey bolted up the middle for
a tackle, with the option to divert to
an open hole elsewhere or dive over the

linebacker Barry Krauss instinctively re-
acted and tackled Guman before he
