Averaged 2.0 points per game in 7.5 minutes. 1 Hunter Dickinson Center 7-1 Freshman Not only started every year at prep powerhouse DeMatha, but was a four-time all-league selection in the prestigious Wash- ington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC), with three first- team nods and Player of the Year honors as a senior. He closed his career as the program's all-time winningest player (119-22). 2 Isaiah Livers Forward 6-7 Senior The All-Big Ten honorable mention missed 10 games with inju- ries last season but tied for the team's lead in points per game at 12.9, while adding 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per tilt, and shooting threes at a team-high 40.2 percent clip. 3 Zeb Jackson Guard 6-5 Freshman A first-team all-state selection in Ohio as a junior, Jackson trans- ferred to Montverde (Fla.) Academy for his senior season and helped the powerhouse squad to a perfect 25-0 record and No. 1 national ranking from MaxPreps. He was also a consensus four-star and top-105 recruit nationally. 4 Brandon Wade Guard 6-1 R- Sophomore Began his career at Duquesne, where he played in 27 games during the 2018-19 season. He joined U-M's team last January and will become eligible during the second semester. 5 Terrance Williams II Forward 6-7 Freshman The Gatorade District of Columbia Player of the Year, Williams averaged 17.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per game during his final prep season, and was rated a consensus four-star recruit listed among the top 106 nationally by all three major recruit- ing services. 12 Mike Smith Guard 5-11 5th-Year Senior The graduate transfer started 91 of 92 career games in his four years at Columbia and scored 1,653 career points, which ranks fourth in school history. Led the Ivy League and ranked sixth nationally with 22.8 points per game a year ago. 14 Rico Ozuna-Harrison Guard 5-11 Senior Walk-on who appeared in four games last year, seeing a total of 11 minutes of action and scoring two points. 15 Chaundee Brown Jr. Guard 6-5 Senior Was granted immediate eligibility ahead of the season, after transferring from Wake Forest. Started 15 of his 23 appear- ances for the Demon Deacons in 2019-20, posting 12.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game with 13 double-figure scoring outings and 16 performances with five-plus boards. 21 Franz Wagner Guard 6-9 Sophomore Was the Big Ten Freshman of the Week three times and was tabbed to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team at year's end. The Berlin, Germany, native started in all 27 games he played in after missing the first four with a wrist injury, and averaged 11.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists per outing. Shot 45.2 percent from the floor and 31.1 percent from long range. 23 Brandon Johns Jr. Forward 6-8 Junior Was a key bench player, appearing in 30 contests and start- ing in 11 due to Isaiah Livers' injuries last winter. Averaged 6.0 points and 3.9 rebounds per game and blocked 21 shots. 24 C.J. Baird Forward 6-5 Senior Walk-on who played in seven games off the bench and drained one three-pointer among his eight points on the year. 25 Jace Howard Guard 6-7 Freshman The son of head coach Juwan Howard was a unanimous three- star recruit, and averaged 10.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game as a prep senior. 32 Luke Wilson Guard 6-0 Senior Walk-on who saw reserve action in six games last season and scored his first-ever points on a three versus UMass-Lowell. 44 Jaron Faulds Forward 6-10 Senior Walked on after transferring from Columbia before last season. Played in five games off the bench, scoring four points and grabbing seven rebounds. 51 Austin Davis Forward 6-10 5th-Year Senior Played in 24 games off the bench and emerged as the primary backup big man to Jon Teske, earning an invite back for his fifth season midway through last year. Averaged 4.9 points and 2.6 boards per game while shooting a team-best 69.3 percent from the field. 55 Eli Brooks Guard 6-1 Senior Was the starter at shooting guard last season but can also play the point. Scored in double digits five times and averaged 10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per tilt, while also excelling on defense. Paced the squad with 52 threes. — Clayton Sayfie 2020-21 Men's Basketball Roster Fifth-year senior forward Austin Davis shot 69.3 percent from the field last year (52 of 75), leading all U-M regulars.
