t was a season unlike any other for high
school football.
Although many Southern states fol-
lowed the lead of the Southeastern Con-
ference, playing their games as regularly
scheduled, Northern states were much
more scattered. In Pennsylvania, most of
the schools played, while Philadelphia's
public and Catholic leagues postponed
their seasons until the spring of 2021.
Maryland tried to give it a go in Novem-
ber, only for most districts to cancel just
a few weeks into the season. Virginia did-
n't even attempt to play, postponing all
play until the spring.
Because of that, some of Penn State's
future players, such as Canadian quarter-
back Christian Veilleux, who played at the
Bullis School in Maryland, and corner-
