Belleville's roster fea- tures one of the Kings' future teammates, linebacker Jamari Buddin, who totaled 50 tackles, including eight tackles for loss and two sacks, while leading the Tigers to a 9-0 record. Cass Tech is also undefeated with nine wins, and Kalen and Kobe are major reasons why. Kalen totaled 10 touchdowns on o8ense, as well as 18 solo tackles and three interceptions playing cornerback. Kobe had 58 tackles, 15 tack- les for loss, three forced fumbles and two sacks playing linebacker. He also rushed for more than 1,000 yards and scored eight touchdowns. In Indiana, defensive end Rodney Mc- Graw of Elkhart also had a very impres- sive season, totaling 91 tackles, 22 tackles for loss and nine sacks in 12 games. A9er combining two former rival high schools, Elkhart Memorial and Elkhart Central, the team advanced all the way to the sec- tional playo8s, going 9-3. One of Penn State's newest commit- ments in the 2021 class, wide receiver Harrison Wallace from Alabama, also put up some very impressive numbers. Even though he was playing football for only the second year – he had originally trans- ferred to Pike Road High School to play basketball – Wallace totaled 1,130 all- purpose yards and 12 touchdowns in 10 games. The Patriots went 11-1 (two teams forfeited) before being knocked out in the second round of the Alabama 5A state playo8s. Wallace was also selected to play in Alabama's North-South All-Star Game on Dec. 18. Penn State's Class of 2022 commit- ments also impressed, none more than quarterback Beau Pribula. A9er going 9- 2 in 2019, Central York lost its head coach, so expectations were unclear under the leadership of new coach Gerry Yonchiuk. Not only did the Panthers go undefeated in the regular season, they outscored their opponents 354-9. Then, against Central Dauphin, last year's PIAA 6A runner-up, Pribula had arguably his best game of the season, totaling 340 yards of o8ense and 7ve touchdowns in a 42-15 victory. Cen- tral York advanced to the 6A state cham- pionship game but lost to one of the nation's powerhouse programs, St. Joseph's Prep. For the season, Pribula threw for 2,156 yards, with 34 touchdowns and seven in- terceptions. He also racked up 519 yards rushing and scored another 14 touch- downs on the ground to give him 48 touchdowns total. Wide receiver Kaden Saunders also had a very good year, totaling nearly 1,500 all- purpose yards and 13 touchdowns. Most important, he led Westerville South to its best winning percentage in nearly two decades with an 8-1 record. Penn State's other 2022 wide receiver, Anthony Ivey, played just four games, but he also put up some impressive numbers, totaling 23 re- ceptions for 546 yards and eight touch- downs. ■ C O R N E R B A C K A T H L E T E
