884 yards and eight touchdowns in
2020.
PFF rated Dotson as the sixth-
best wide receiver in the Big Ten this
past season, but the 2020 NFL Draft is
one of the deepest in recent memory
at the wide receiver position, and
that's believed to have played a part in
his decision.
RASHEED WALKER On Jan. 12,
Walker tweeted his intention to re-
turn for his redshirt junior season.
This past year, he was tied with
Menet for
the most snaps on the
team. According to PFF, his offensive
grade of 70.6 was second-best for
offensive linemen behind Fries (73.5).
EARLY DRAFT ENTRANTS
PAT FREIERMUTH It was no surprise
when Freiermuth revealed in Decem-
ber that he won't be coming back in
2021. Expected to be an early pick in
the upcoming draft, he could have
left last year but decided to return for
his junior season instead. He caught
23 passes for 310 yards through the
first four games but was injured
against Ohio State and ultimately
was forced to have season-ending
surgery on his shoulder.
Freiermuth finished his career with
92 receptions for 1,185 yards and 16
TDs. Despite his injury, he was
named Tight End of the Year in the
Big Ten.
JAYSON OWEH Oweh made his deci-
sion official on Dec. 26, announcing
that he'll forgo his last two seasons of
eligibility. A projected late-first-
round or early-second-round selec-
tion, Oweh has been considered a
special talent for years now. Although
he didn't record a sack in 2020, he was
still Penn State's top overall player ac-
cording to PFF. In fact, he was the
11th-ranked defensive end out of 216
players this season and was fourth
overall at his position in the Big Ten.
Oweh finished the 2020 season
with 38 tackles and 6.5 tackles for
loss. He totaled 63 tackles, 13.5 tack-
les for loss and seven sacks during
his tenure with the Lions.
