High to the PIAA Class A state champi-
onship, as the Rollers beat Jeannette,
32-20,
for the title. It was their :rst state
championship since winning back-to-
back titles in 2007 and '08. Flowers, who
totaled 60 receptions for more than 1,000
yards and 15 touchdowns, earned O;en-
sive Player of the Year honors in Pennsyl-
vania from the Patriot-News.
"You can't tackle him one-on-one, and
he never gets caught from behind, so right
away his elusiveness and his speed to run
away from guys is very good," Steel-High
head coach Andrew Erby said. "There are
times where we'll put him out there, one-
on-one, knowing that there's no chance
the guy defending him will be able to bring
