F O O T B A L L R E C R U I T I N G A WARM WELCOME Recruiting season is about to heat up, with dozens of prospects set to visit PSU in June | S ummer is always a busy period for James Franklin and his assistants, but June 2021 should go down as one of the busiest four-week stretches they've ever been part of. A1er nearly 15 months in which in-person recruiting was not permitted, Penn State is set to host about 30 uncommitted prospects for o0cial visits during the four weekends in June. On top of that, the Nittany Lions will also host junior day events for players in the Class of 2023, as well as a handful of prospect camps each weekend. They'll even travel to other schools such as Florida State to participate in satellite camps. All of this in a 27-day span that will surely have a major impact on how this year's recruiting class .nishes. Ryan Brubaker, a four-star o/ensive lineman from Den- ver, Pa., will take his o0cial visit that .rst weekend, June 4-6. A1er that, the action re- ally picks up, with 11 prospects expected to take o0cial visits June 11-13. That weekend will be headlined by another Pennsylvania prospect, running back Nick Singleton, as well as Baltimore native Dani Den- nis-Sutton, a Rivals100 de- fensive end. But the group of prospects who will be on campus that weekend is so talented that it's hard to say that any one recruit is better SHRINE BOWL Brubaker and his father visited the Nittany Lion shrine during an unofficial trip to campus.
