1. CADE MCNAMARA vs. Rutgers Losers of three straight games coming in, Michigan looked stagnant once again Nov. 21 at Rutgers, another one-win team at the time. Redshirt sophomore quarterback Joe Milton was 5-of-12 passing for 89 yards and had yet to lead the Wolverines down the field to score. With 4:18 remaining in the second quarter, head coach Jim Harbaugh inserted redshirt freshman signal-caller Cade McNamara, a decision that changed the course of the game. McNamara went on to complete 27 of 36 throws for 260 yards with four touchdowns, while also adding a rushing score in the 48-42, triple-overtime win. 2. KWITY PAYE vs. Minnesota Much was expected from Paye heading into his senior year, and he delivered right away in Michigan's season-opening win in Minneapolis. He notched four tackles, including three behind the line of scrimmage and two of the team's five sacks on the night. In fact, Paye's sacks Oct. 24 were two of the team's nine for the entire six-game season. PFF handed Paye an elite grade of 84.3 for his evening, with the pass-rusher having notched seven quarterback pressures. 3. HASSAN HASKINS vs. Rutgers Michigan employed a four-man running back rotation much of the season, with no single back carrying the ball more than eight times in a game through the first four contests. But when the Wolverines needed a feature ball carrier, redshirt sophomore Hassan Haskins was there to step up. Against Rutgers, the former linebacker carried it a career-high 23 times for 111 yards, and produced what wound up being the game-winning touchdown — a one-yard dash — in triple overtime. Seventeen of his car- ries and 94 of his yards came after halftime, when it mattered most. RUSHING ............ G NO. GAIN LOST NET AVG. TD LG.
