TRACKING THE PACK SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2021 ■ 15 PACK PERFORMERS Jameese Joseph, Women's Soccer Building off her All-ACC Fresh- man campaign in 2019 — the last year that the Wolfpack played a full women's soccer season — the sophomore from Beltsville, Md., is off to a tremendous start in 2021. In the first four games of the campaign, Joseph had scored three goals, half of the Wolfpack's total. NC State was 1-1-2 in that stretch. Joseph had three goals during her rookie season, including a pair of game-winners. Leon Krapf, Men's Soccer The Gochsheim, Germany native is hoping to conclude his fifth-year senior season with a strong case for being the best goalkeeper in school history. Krapf entered the fall with the best career goals-against aver- age (1.10) ever at NC State, while his 20 career shutouts stood as the third-most by a Wolfpacker. Krapf began the year by getting shutout No. 21, a 2-0 triumph over USC Up- state Aug. 26, and was on the ACC's preseason watch list, one of just two goalkeepers mentioned. Sara Nayar, Women's Tennis Fresh off the program's first Final Four appearance, head coach Simon Earnshaw added an im- mediate boost to his lineup next season with the addition of Nayar, a transfer from Colorado. The native of Queensland, Australia, has been ranked as high as No. 65 nationally in singles and 31st in doubles, and has experience playing at No. 1 singles for the Buffaloes, who com- pete in the Pac-12. Coleman Stewart, Swimming Swimming in Naples, Italy, for the Cali Condors of the International Swimming League, the former NC State star first set an American re- cord for the short course 100-meter backstroke with a time of 48.91 seconds during the leadoff leg in a medley relay. Stewart then followed up with a world record of 48.33 seconds on Aug. 29 in the individual race that he captured. The York, Pa., native won the national champion- ship in the 100 backstroke for the Wolfpack in 2018.
