C O M urban Cleveland, Kilbane has earned 10 additional scholarship offers so far, but the Nittany Lions became the first Power Five school to make the move. "Penn State was just a really classy place," Kilbane said. "They treated everyone well. They made sure to put the time in to make sure it was an ex- perience for everyone. They're all first- class people." One other notable player who at- tended the second junior day was wide receiver Kenny Johnson of Dallastown, Pa. Johnson picked up an offer from the Nittany Lions in the beginning of October. They were the first Power Five program to make that move but have since been joined by Boston College, Rutgers and West Virginia. "I think one of the things that re- ally stood out to me and my mom was the amount of majors that they offer," Johnson said. "The different amount of opportunities that they can offer, beyond football, stands out. I can really choose a couple different paths, which impressed me. "I thought the facilities were re- ally, really nice, too. The weight room, obviously, they're currently doing a renovation on, but the layout looks in- sane. They're going to make that really nice." ■ P E N N S T A T E R E C R U I T S * C L A S S O F 2 0 2 2 NAME POS HT WT RATING HOME SCHOOL Drew Allar QB 6-5 230 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Medina, Ohio Medina Kaytron Allen RB 5-11 222 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Norfolk, Va.
